What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): At the beginning we had only 4 learners but later in about 10min we had more learners. An hour later new learners showed up wich created a little of bumpiness with the flow of the group. But nevertheless many students were laughing and had fun.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): By far my second best class ever! This time I believe I found out the reason why it was a successful class. reason #1 was my lesson plan. Everything in my lesson plan was relevant to the topic and it was interesting for the students because they heard many familiar words and many unfamiliar words and the lesson plan didn’t put a lot of pressure on the learners so they were open to ask questions. For example, someone asked what does preparedness mean? apparently many learners struggled with that word. reason #2 was my energy that I brought into class. In the beginning I was nervous a little bit though because it has been awhile since I’ve taught my last class but thanks to the reason #1 it made everyone to be open and therefore my energy leveled up and that brought me to the reason #3 so because my energy leveled up it affected learners a lot which gave me a lot of confidence and signals that I’m doing the right thing. In addition, all of the above mentioned reasons made the class to be very fun, open to each other, engaged and connected. FYI: one of the librarians told me that due to the construction at Rockwood library they will cancel Monday afternoon classes.
