What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was a No Lesson Plan class today. We started off with the alphabet sheet and then we went into dictating numbers. Afterwards we played a Around the World type game with numbers and then names. Class consisted mostly of dictation and game-ilke activities. We ended the class with a listen and do activity that really connected the learners. THERE WAS A LOT OF LAUGHING!

Added to that was choral response. The class also did a listen and do activity where they pointed to body parts (head, shoulders, knees, toes…).

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was the first class back at Hall Elementary and 21 leaners showed up! We did start a little later since the learners had to sign up for the SUN program before class. Once we started, we did the alphabet listen and point, yell and spell with names, and the title of the lesson for the day. With such a large class and being the first class, we ended the class with pointing to directions (north, west, etc.) and more choral response. Overall, the class was extremely engaged and worked well with each other.
