What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was May’s first silent class. She did a great job directing me how to teach the class. For example, she brought special signs that she used to write the alphabet letters on, and showed the letters to me and I would repeat them out loud. She was able to even control the pace of the alphabet sheet activity using the signs with letters.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was another great class taught by Maureen. We were surprised that only four learners showed up. Perhaps, it is due to weather conditions. The learners asked us many questions about president’s day. Specifically, why it is not celebrated in some states, and why it is not a national holiday.
