The handouts were based on the real world. As well as he kept learners to be busy with round-robin and that was good. Since learners were busy and kept asking each other, they had no time to get distracted. It helped learners to focus on a lesson.

Lots of time for focused attention as we had two teachers and one or two students at a time.

Reflection: “It was ok.” (1) vs. Life-changing Epiphany (10) = 5What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): There were two students in class today both were very very low level. During this class we talked about Portland’s heat advisory for this week and how trees help cool the air. I let the learners try to spell each word once and then wrote it down for them. I felt that one student got frustrated when I wasn’t immediately telling him how to spell it and making him try, but he get better at trying to spell the word once by the end of class. Both students spoke very little English so it was very hard to direct them during class.
