We used a brochure for word searching and a table of when and how to plant various crops for dictations and round robin. We had two new students join us, which initially took some slowing down to make sure they understand what was going on, but they caught on, encouraged each other, and engaged with the material and the others in class.

We dictated a situation when going out for shopping. We practiced sentences, and then we did a role play. They paired and chose the item which they wanted to do a role play. Eddie helped me to do a conversation and practiced pronunciation with learners.
