What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): This was by far my best class in 2017. I have put some detailed thought into how I am going to execute my lesson plan. Each activity had a punch line that would challenge the learners, and I knew that it would challenge them because I knew their levels. As a result, it created a special engaging environment where learners inevitably had to collaborate with each other in order to get the right answers. I have used a lot of energy and enthusiasm while teaching and that affected the learners in a positive way. As a result, learners felt comfortable to communicate to each other in English a little bit. At the end, one of the learners said to me, ” I like you teach” which is probably an indication that she enjoyed learning and feeling comfortable to overcome the lack of confidence and shame to speak up in English. Powerful stuff!!!
