What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Pretty solid class. Katie used a video with a cut-out of sentences that needed to be put in order, which most people seemed really engaged in. One side of the class was a bit lower energy than the other side, so consideration may need to be given to disperse energy better on Mondays.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Started off the class with conversations rather than the artifact pass, which seems to work better, in that there was more engagement happening with each other. The coin pass worked well, with folks laughing and engaging with the coins. The presentation still has a lot more potential to be broken up, though the making change activity had mixed results, some groups getting really into it with other groups finishing very early.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):
Today was the first day of classes this school year at Hall Elementary. The class started late because the learners were getting registered into the SUN system. There was a fairly even split of learners who had been to the class before and new learners. People seemed a bit quiet at first and hesitant to crowd around one table. By the yell+spell and dictations there was much more helping each other and laughing, especially about a certain item that a learner had purchased that day. Learners seemed really engaged with the Walgreens coupons search at the end.Zadok TaylorSpectatorLesson Title: This Looks Like The Big One
