What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): only one learner to begin with, but we acquired another one later. the focus was dictation and pronunciation for them, and we got quite a bit deeper. This particular learner has gotten good at doing what the class expects, but is starting to struggle with producing more.. and I listen, and we correct and write it down, then we’ll go back to questions and have him reply to them again. Then – the topic of the safety bonus came up.. and we had a nice small group to explain the bonus structure, dictating it and going into great detail.

Reflection: “It was ok.” (1) vs. Life-changing Epiphany (10) = 4Total Score: 27
What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): not as bad of a class as might be indicated by the score.. the group was excited, it grew by one, people were laughing, and as often happens, folks were a little surprised and delighted by some of the gains they’ve already made. I’m not sure, there seems to be some tension between some of the folks, will keep an eye on that.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Only one learner, but he’s really really engaged, and we spent the entire time focusing on things relevant to him. Got word that there were many others who were working overtime who would have liked to have been there. Some confusion about the words frustration, complacency, fatigue, rushing.
