What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):
This is a difficult module, especially with many lower level learners in the class. Sam did a good job with the material (1040 form) and his rhythm and pace were excellent. Higher proficiency learners were very helpful.
Note that the library doesn’t open until noon on Monday. The experience is for the class to start late (about 12:10) and for learners to come in until 12:20-12:30.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Large class with four new students. Good mix. I’m learning that its a good idea to separate family members and to position higher level learners with lower level learners. This is a boring subject, but good for vocabulary and pronunciation practice. We discussed W-4s and W-7s ( ITINs), withholding taxes, and some general principles of filing taxes. Next week, I think we should continue with 1099s, W-4s, and maybe start looking at 1040EZs. We started the class by playing Taxman by the Beatles. We might repeat that in coming weeks.
