Some of the high-level learners step in and started helping out without even being asked. It was great!

    At the doctor module was fun. Learners like saying and finding (in the document search) new medical terms. Small group but everyone knows each other and works together. Ended on energetic high note of standing up and pointing at body parts that gained in speed.

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Benjamin had a really fun hands-on lesson plan. We made cute little bean bag cell phone holders. It’s was fun, hands-on, and the right amount of challenging for some of the higher learners. Benjamin did the dictation of the step by step instructions on how to make it, a round robin with the materials we would use and then the actual making of the bean bags. Everyone seemed to have fun and it would be cool to try it again.

Some questions were easy to ask and get a response from, others needed more context or explanation to get a response, even then not sure if some of the learners still completely understood what we we asking. Better visual example would have helped. Learners were still very engaged and asking each other questions and ask us questions.

They were really engage with the ingredients for recipe, asking questions about what certain ingredients. Having actual pieces of ingredients to pass around was helpful. 2 New learners and more advanced learners starting helping them out which was super great to see.
