    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was awesome to see the learners sharing in laughter and bantering at different times throughout class. It was apparent they were all having a great time and their affective filters were low. Thus, it seemed like they were taking their self corrections and/or explicit feedback from MC, DJ, and assistant “lightly” and not allowing it to be a frustration or hinderance in their learning process, but rather experience their learning as being fun.

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Mark brought in two Santa Claus hats, one for himself and one for his DJ as well as brought in homemade cookies including an array of different decorations to put on them!! We had three guests from Havurah Shalom that were excited to see what PPT @ Rigler looked like with regard to the curriculum, facilitation and implementation of PPT (They left before the end of class). Had they stayed………they would have seen the culminating activity in Mark’s Christmas cookie decorating lesson. Along with the Santa Claus hats and the homemade cookies, Mark also brought in different colored sprinkles, icing, and tips to adjust the diameter of icing flow from respective tubes. Learners were able to take their decorated cookies home with them along with any leftover supplies (ie-decorations) to use when they make some Christmas cookies of their own.
