What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Today’s lesson covered emergency prep basics- saying your address, how to prepare and first aid kits. It was the first class back at Irvington and back to the 6pm start time so many learners arrived late. The Irvington principle and vice principle joined in and participated as if they were learners and at the end expressed how much they enjoyed themselves. There was a lot of laughter throughout the class, especially during the first aid kit round robins, and every student personally thanked Benjamin before they left!

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): We worked on terms and directions related to making brownies. Two new students joined and seemed flustered/a little overwhelmed during the alphabet dictation but stuck with it and stayed engaged throughout the rest of the lesson. Maureen brought brownies to eat at the end and many students asked if she made them. Lots of laughter throughout the class and many students thanked Maureen, Jenny and I as they left!
