What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): After reviewing the alphabet and spelling names, learners wrote from recitation of county names and helped each other find their locations on an empty map of the state’s counties. Vocabulary: top, bottom, left, right, north, south, east, west. Also recitation of driving directions to a beach. Vocabulary: turn left on, merge onto, head to, continue on, etc.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Reviewed alphabet, and name spellings, wrote from dictations with vocabulary of local weather by seasons. Had conversation about local season weather and old-country seasons with questions and answers in English and thruogh interpretation. After class, DJ read and corrected a copy-book with a student beginning to practice lower-case letters.
