    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Amanda’s silent class about the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire went very well! She came well-prepared with adaptations of typical activities and the learner caught on quickly. The lesson really lent itself to self-correction and the learner was able to do a lot of that today- super awesome!

We did a lot of speaking and writing, which was challenging for some of the learners, but learners helped each other and were able to figure things out.     What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): We talked about “America’s Most Common Gifts,” connected the vocabulary with pictures, and did a round robin activity with the gifts. Learners especially enjoyed talking about getting money as a gift and being silly in the round robin. Amanda got some good feedback from Ramin about the structure of Kelly’s classes. Overall a great class with lots of laughs!
