    Preparation: Forgot to Show Up (1) vs. Every Hair In Place (10) = 6
    Technique: Completely Incompetent (1) vs. Flawless Delivery (10) = 4
    Engagement: Snoring Loudly (1) vs. Absolutely Riveted (10) = 8
    Connection: Open Hostility (1) vs. Kumbayah (10) = 7
    Poise: Charlie Brown (1) vs. Prince (10) = 5
    Reflection: “It was ok.” (1) vs. Life-changing Epiphany (10) = 6

    Total Score: 36

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): We had one learner that showed up around 6:25. David had already left, so Whiley and I continued with class as usual. Even though we only had one learner, the class was very enjoyable, as we were able to really engage with that person. We both agreed that it was rewarding from the teaching perspective.

    How Many Learners: 5 adults, one child
    Materials Status (loyalty cards, alphabet sheets, etc): The box of loyalty cards was there. We have roughly 8 copies of the alphabet sheet. There were no evaluation sheets.

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):
    We had an Irvington grandfather, David, shadowing the class for the 2nd time. We had 6 learners, but 3 were new learners who did not speak spanish. Lovely family, whose son, Barkat, grinned from ear to ear every time he called his father by his name during dialogue.
