What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Having multiple level learners was a challenge but having higher level learners help out the lower level learners was beneficial. Group cohesion was good and it was awesome to see students help each other out without prompt from the teachers. We will place better seat assignments for the lower level learners to be sandwiched between the higher level learners.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Having students create sentences from pictures was helpful. We forgot a couple times to have the students read back sentences from the video. Also learning environment was a little noisy. It was great watching the students help each other.

Hannah: Overall, things went well. Group was larger than what MC was prepared for and he thought that having “learners of different levels was a challenge”. Had some technical difficulties with the video and the internet, but DJ was able to keep busy with document word search and dictation progression. Technique was fine, could have used “Ready” more often. Students were engaged, but it took some time to warm up. Overall, it went fine and the learners enjoyed Bingo at the end.

we learned today that self practice mitigates many unanticipated obstacles.
we effectively organised seating arrangements that was advantageous to the students learning. materials were rather dull, with more practice could be better, but we adapted our technique well to make our class interesting and engaging.

Berries was a fitting summer lesson! It was good that the learners got opposite words incorrect in spelling – this let them look at each others sheets for corrections.
Use of new word sheets at the end was helpful, interesting, and very similar to the alphabet sheets. Some

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):

We did the usual three exercises, “ready”, “yell and spell”, and “alphabet and point”. Then we did document search and dictation and choral response with 4th of July facts. Finally we finished with a cool fireworks video with a sentence scramble.
