What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Class started with Alpha, Listen and Point which helped engage learners and boost connection. For one thing, maybe, the group today was not too big today and we were able to have everyone sit next to each other at the same table and they were very interested and focused today. We had a dictation activity and ended the class with a Bingo game. Learners did not want to leave, but keep on playing! Monica brought chocolates!

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Janet ran a class with no lesson plan. Ready, Alphabet Point, Yell and Spell, Today’s Lesson is…, What is it?, Document Search, and Stand and Point (Compass Directions) were utilized. Energy was very positive with plenty of laughter. Students had to contend with “to” and “two,” and some grammatical tense issues, “It is a candy cane.” “It is peppermint.”

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): this was Ariens first silence class, YEAH!! He planned an awesome plan, sent it to me prior, had a copy ready for me & met up with me a half n hour earlier to prepare on how he was hoping it to go. He had already picked out the letters & combinations.. Then he learned to sign some of them & I would yell them out. We then did our names & to then to the title of the lesson. Soon after he passed out a document which we did “word search”… He strategically did that & pre picked words that he wanted to use in the ” Hangman” game… But class got smart & started counting the number of letters to “guess” the word… But we stop using the words used in the document search…& rather picked random words from the document… Way fun… Students laughed & was competitive… Awesome!! Then we dictated 2 sentences & had them figure if true or false comparing from document… It was very well put together… I’m very proud of Arien…
