What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): David started class with the alphabet drill using the computer keyboard sheet as a guide, which I hadn’t seen before. We then did yell and spell. We did dictation progression with today’s lesson title. We then started a scene which David and I acted out where he was trying to get to Fred Meyers and I was trying to give directions. We extended this scene throughout the night, using it for dictation progression, and then as a base for round robins with items from his shopping cart. We finished up going over a map to identify directions on a map from the school to Fred Meyer. It was a fun class and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. They also enjoyed the Almond Joys that David shared.
