The score card sheet was responded to very well by the learners, but there was some lack of context issues that we had to improvise for. Some learners had difficulty with the minimum wage sheet with the print being small, but it did spawn a lot of little conversations.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):We had a big class today, and sort of ran out of room at the tables. Hewoit came in last and ended up sort of floating out next to a table. We did alphabet listen and point. The energy was high and kept the class engaged throughout yell and spell and a short dialogue sequence about how many hours a day, and a week, Americans typically work. Then we learned a little bit about the history of May Day. It was some good stuff!
