We learned about the different kinds of apples local to Oregon, even having the students pick which apple is their favorite in a dialogue. Also played apple Bingo! which was very fun for the students. The learners were challenged today by having a different MC, which helped to keep them on their toes throughout the lesson. Class was smaller than usual, with two new learners, but that helped to bring the class together to help each other out throughout the lesson.

Ian was shadowing the class today and was very helpful during the dictation and word search. We had three new learners show up and the class was very engaged about the lesson as usual.

He also mixed up the learners so they weren’t sitting in the same places as always. We took some time to make sure all the new learners had the hang of the activities. For the main classroom activity, we went over the voting information for the PCC bond.

This class was saved by Patrik bring props from Rockwood!
