What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): The lesson opened with Alphabet practice and Yell and Spell Names. Learners worked on a dictation about facts regarding the local King Farmer’s Market. Next, they practiced vocabulary about fruit and vegetables one might find at the farmer’s market. Then that vocabulary was incorporated into a round robin conversation. Finally, they watched a video about the King Farmer’s Market.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Todays class was about Portland’s farmers market. we watched a video of PSU farmers market and also learned some facts about the Portland farmers market in general. We then practiced speaking with “real world materials” such as eggplant, corn, Brussel sprouts and many more. We had a guest Allen and at the end Patrick dropt in and we had a good reflection afterwards.
