What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): We started practicing the identification of letters of the alphabet, giving positive feedback and encouraging learners to be cooperative. Most of the group are usual comers and they seem to get along really well. Lower level learners were well taken care of. They do struggle with shyness, but no one in particular represented a challenge. They will likely soon catch up with the rest of the class as they continue to be influenced by the positive environment of the group. We ended the class with a fun TPR.April 12, 2016 at 3:35 pm #7420QrysiSpectatorLesson Title: Birdie Sanders

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Class started late because we didn’t have a classroom and the table in the hallway was built for kindergarten sized people. Once we were don with the alphabet, names, and lesson title, we watched a video and transcribed it, wrote down a few sentences about delegates, a listen and do activity, and a this is an apple activity with the deck of professions. The energy started off pretty low but by the end the energy was good.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Alphabet, Listen & Point was probably a few mins longer than usual because we needed set a slower pace for a low level newcomer we had today. Then we went on with the title of the lesson, dictation, Round Robin using the dictated dialog and then the deck of Professions and a TPR to conclude the class.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): We did alphabet, yell and spell, a dictation followed by a True or False speaking activity. The low scores of the class are due to the fact that the technique and classroom managment fell short of the level required to deal with the lack of connection we had.
