    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): It was Priya’s final silent class. We started with the alphabet sheet. I would do some of the letters verbally and she would point to some of them while the students said them. Then we learned names of certain types of trees. Passes the pics around the circle, and did gestures to help remember them. We finished by watching a movie on planting trees and did a document search from the video. Great class.

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Class was very engaged. I showed my pictures of Africa to my class. I felt like I could do that because I have such a close relationship with them. I think it helped the engagement of the class. I also used a lot of english words and vocabulary as I showed them my pictures of my family and Africa.
