What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Zadok opened class with the programs foundational activities. After this students compared their ways of playing rock, paper, scissors. Then Zadok took the class through a TPR activity to pre-teach the vocabulary we would be using later on. He then had the students write down the vocabulary. We reviewed the vocabulary throughout. Then Zadok dictated the rules for the game Carcassonne. The students wrote down the rules. Then we played the game for the remainder of class.

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): This was Betty’s dress rehearsal. She started with dictation about roosting. We used the dictation phrases to discuss some photos and do a couple question and answer sets. We also did a couple activities where we acted out vocab and did a mini scavenger hunt around the room. We finished with a couple more round robin questions, which were fun because students got to talk about themselves (always a popular topic!)
