Reflection: “It was ok.” (1) vs. Life-changing Epiphany (10) = 8What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): The MC facilitated a wonderful lesson about outdoor landmarks and activities in Portland and Oregon as a whole! The lesson included a dictation of “This land is your land” which was listened to before and after dictation. Next we did a document search which depicted Oregon state with pictures and titles of landmarks and cities across Oregon. Both pictures and words were identified then dictated. Then the learners watched a beautifully animated video of visiting Portland in which afterwards we had a Round Robin of some of the sights with pictures. Later on we matched those same pictures to a title slip of what the picture is depicting. Learners did really well with the repeat language and vocabulary from pronunciation to identifying visually the words and their corresponding picture counterpart!
