    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Ready, Alphabet Listen & Point, Yell & Spell, Document Search, Dictation. We used slides describing the salmon lifecycle and how it’s being affected by climate change! We thought the visuals were well liked by the learners, and the module-specific vocab was particularly of interest to a number of the learners.

    What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): One of the most successful classes ever! it was “try my recipe” for Alex. I made a lesson plan for Alex and he had to follow the instructions. I took the lead at some point to show Alex some techniques and it was too much fun! learners were not used to that kind of fun so some of them were literally cracking up, especially with TPR and with “honey, are you hungry?” “Yes, I am” we gave them candies afterwards. Alex said that he has noted and learned some techniques and that he’s gonna try some activities differently now.

Then we did a few dictations with choral response. Then we passed around pictures of various rivers with the “a what?” ahhh a what” activity.
