What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific): Follow up class to last Thursday’s introduction into Vincent Van Gogh. Lizzy was fantastic, as usual, and kept it simply but interesting. Tiffany, our shadower, noted that the class had a great energy and a good assistant to learner ratio. I liked the addition of dictating vocabulary which was then used in a word search. Excellent variety in activities. We were joined by one of our beloved learners who has been out for awhile and she was embraced by everyone. So glad to have her back!
All in all, a great class.March 13, 2018 at 7:56 pm #9820Mark GriffinSpectatorLesson Title: Irish Blessings

What happened (as short or as long as you like, but be specific):All the learners arrived relatively on time. There was a mix of ‘here it is’ activity and dictation sentences that kept all the learners engaged. There was even enough time to dictate a few pages of the book written by Dr Seuss. One of the learner was having a bit more difficulty in both writing and speaking compare to the other two, but made a good attempt nevertheless. Plus there was a good connection between all the learners in general for the atmosphere to be a positive one.

What happened: The work of the extraordinary Frida Kahlo was explored. It was a small group of regulars which Keli challenged with higher level learning techniques. This worked out great!
