Total Participant Engagement

One of P-P-Ts Core Principles is Total Participant Engagement – whether in language learning, teacher training, or other workshops. We create activities that keep everyone engaged at all times. Engagement can sometimes mean pulling back from an activity, but it should be an active choice, not a strategy for avoiding being in the space. Some features of a Total Participant Engagement:

  • everyone has a task, and it’s clear what that task is;
  • it’s a relational space;
  • it allows for humor and flexibility, and
  • it engages people in different ways depending on what their needs and abilities are.
