Intolerance of people of color, a culture other than one’s own, or opinions of others that differ from one’s own; intolerance, fear, prejudice, or marginalization of any person based on a preconception or stereotype.

A white person or a black person can be bigoted, but because of the legacy of slavery and white supremacy, it’s not racism when a black person is bigoted towards a white person. Bigotry is terrible and hideous, but it’s not the same as racism.
